Virtually everyone knows or at least has heard something about Numerology these days. Numerology operates with basic numbers, which have their corresponding meanings. What is amazing is that a numerological research related to the date you were born can be accomplished in a matter of few minutes. So, if you’re fascinated with this idea as I am, let’s get down to calculation first. Every step we take will be explained.

Speaking frankly, the writer of this guide (me) isn’t a numerologist. A good friend of mine shared the knowledge about the way of deriving numerological research from your birth date, and it is the same method as described in numerological articles. As soon as you feel yourself familiar with this methodology, go ahead and complete your first numerological research using only your date of birth and simple arithmetic operations.

Take a sheet of paper and a pen, probably also calculator for convenience of computation, and it’s all set up. First, put your date of birth in writing, for instance 02-09-1967. Now, add up each digit separately. It will look this way: 0 + 2 + 0 + 9 + 1 + 9 + 6 + 7 = 34. Then you do the same thing with the result: 3 + 4 = 7. And that’s it, your date of birth is converted to a single digit. As for our example, digit 7 is a spiritual number, which also incorporates some other aspects. For a brief or complete description of each basic number, refer to the resource at

Let’s not stop on what we’ve already done, and go even further. Now we’re supposed to combine your numerology birth date number with the number derived from your name. Again, I will explain this on an example. Suppose your full name (don’t forget about middle name) is Catherine Rose Doherty. Count up how much letters are there in your full name. In our example it is 9 + 4 + 7 = 20. And as we discussed above, 20 = 2 + 0 = 2. Also make a note for yourself that there are two 2-digit numbers in Numerology that should not be summed up. Those numbers are 11 and 22. I don’t have enough knowledge to explain why exactly those numbers are special, that’s just the way it is (to find the answer, refer to numerological literature).

So now we’ve got the basic numbers on our hands and may proceed with finding their corresponding meanings. You may follow with reading the description of your Course of Existence, Birth Path and so on. Now you successfully completed your first amateur numerological research. As for me, I don’t really buy all readings in terms of accuracy of assumptions that Numerology makes, but there you have it as it is. Perhaps you’ll get to know the answers to the questions that have disturbed you for all time long. A simplier way to find all your numerology numbers is by use of numerology chart calculator software wich will do all calculation job for you. Such numerology software is a great way for time economy and fun for reading numerology reports for all your family persons.
